The Social Roasting Company is an exciting new concept in coffee.

They passionately hand roast every kilo using 100% ethically sourced beans and then deliver them fresh on their big green bicycle to the Human Powered Cafe.

They’re also a social enterprise. This means they go out of their way to create employment for people who’ve been out of work for a long time.

You may see Josh pedaling hard to deliver beans on one of our big green coffee delivery bikes to cafes around Melbourne. Give him a toot or a pat on the back as he passes you.

We deliver our beans by bike not only for environmental reasons but also to create more avenues for meaningful, healthy and fun employment.

The bikes we use are made by Surly. The model is the ‘Big Dummy’ it is designed to safely carry 180 kilos including rider.
