2nd Update 9 January 2012: Thanks all for heads up – found some of the cafe property in Brunswick. It’s been outside for a while, left unsecure, in the rain & very damaged. Dear all,
On Monday morning, 11 October 2011, Bill Bretherton of Human Powered Cycles took adversarial possession of our cafe business at 562 High Street, Thornbury & changed locks without prior communication.
This despite a prior mediation process and agreement at Department of Justice.
We request that all our friends & colleagues to remain calm until this situation is dealt with via legal means.
Andy Rogers is having a exhibition of his photos taken at three rounds of the recent Dirty Deeds CX race series. The exhibition is in our lounge area & the kitchen south wall during our usual opening hours until further notice: i.e.: they all get sold or someone does something silly.
For more details, see Andy’s photo blog at Fame & Spear. Photos are available for $35, although Andy assures us that a ” ‘friend of the photographer’ discount” option is also available.
